Two goals that fit together
The first is my family. I want us to be financially free and I want to be present for my kids, not stuck behind a desk until they’re grown. Real estate is how I’m building that.
The second is the people I work with. The homeowners who call me are almost always going through something hard, and most of the "we buy houses" world treats them as a number to squeeze. I don’t. My business only works long-term if the people I buy from would send their friends to me. That means fair offers, real explanations, and telling you the truth even when it costs me a deal.
Those two goals aren’t in tension. Relationships built on mutual wins are the whole business plan.
Off the clock
My wife Janae and I live in Kaysville with our kids. We have a full house, and it keeps getting fuller. Weekends are soccer games, church, and whatever project is half-finished in the garage.
By day I’m a software engineer, which is probably why I care so much about showing my work: every offer comes with the math, not a vibe. I also run a small bookkeeping practice for real estate investors, so I understand the numbers on your side of the table too.

Fresh Start Home Buyers is the name I do business under. The legal entity is Adams Real Estate Holdings, LLC, a Utah company based in Kaysville. I buy with my own funds and with private partners, I’m not a licensed real estate agent, and I don’t list houses. I serve Davis and Weber Counties: Kaysville, Layton, Farmington, Syracuse, Clearfield, Ogden, Roy, Bountiful, and the surrounding Wasatch Front.
